  • Bag limits must be strictly observed - with no bag/rod sharing. Anglers may be requested to show catches for returns reasons

​

  • No person may fish without first purchasing a fishing permit from the fishery office. (On call number is always on the permit door so staff can be reached)

 

  • It is imperative that anglers record their catches by weighing and returning their permits recording the  water fish were caught, to allow correct re-stocking figures. This includes nil returns.

​

  • Trebles are not permitted

  • When on catch and release always use barbless or de-barbed hooks, always use a landing net and keep fish in the water and release insuring they have sufficient oxygen in their gills. For weighing of the larger fish please weigh in net then release.

​

  • Disinfectant net dips are available to ensure our fish remain disease free

 

  • Children under 14 must be accompanied and supervised by an adult at all times.

​

  • No person under 16 allowed on fishery without and accompanying adult.​

 

  • Fly fishing once limit is reached then catch and release on fly only. Hooks check WILL take place.

 

  • For child prices children must be 15 or under to qualify for child discounts. 

​

  • NO WADING for the safety of all anglers and staff. Don't wear waders over deep water pegs for your own safety.

 

  • Strictly no floating  flies used on any pond at any time on sinking fly lines on C&R.

​

  • BUNGS ARE PERMITTED, however hanging large lures under them whilst having a nap, going for a walk, speaking on the phone not paying attention or not having the rod in your hand paying attention is not permitted. Please remain alert for the welfare of your fish.

  • No reserving a peg whilst popping off for a chat or a coffee. Unattended rods will be moved to clear the peg for other anglers. Please consider what you would accept whilst fishing.​

 

  • Any fish caught over limit will be charged at £4.50 per lb, however selective kills are permitted on the fly tickets. ALL DOUBLES MUST BE RETURNED

  • Float tubers are responsible for providing their own certified  manually activated life jackets and will not be allowed access to the water without one. 

 

  • Float tubers must give priority to the bank anglers at all times and consideration and courtesy should be shown.

 

  • No vehicles are allowed beyond the entrance gate without prior permission from the management and only for disabled access. If anglers carpark is full collection from other nearby  parking or Kinross bus station etc, can be arranged by contacting the management.

  • Nets are available free for use. ALL nets MUST be dipped

 

  • During times of inclement weather please contact fishery to ensure we are open.

​

  • Dogs and vehicles are NOT permitted on the fishery premises without prior arrangement via Fishery Management.   Contact the Fishery for permission.  In the event that your dog is permitted on the premises, please ensure they are kept on a lead at all times.  Please note management guard dog is on site, and will be walked around fishery, as well as patrolling freely overnight.

​

  • We are an environmentally friendly and considerate fishery. Please respect  the wildlife and ensure waste bins are used for all waste and especially line, etc. No filter cigarette ends or rubbish to be dumped.

​

  • No taking of illegal substances on fishery. All persons are recorded on video entering the permit hut from behind the counter and also within the carpark as well as IR wildlife cameras around the waters  should the authorities need contacted.

​

  • Alcohol is not permitted to be consumed on the fishery for water safety reasons. Persons will be asked to leave if under the influence of alcohol for safety and consideration of others.

​

  • Disabled Pegs MUST be give up for those with restricted mobility

​

ANY ANYONE FAILING  TO ADVHERE TO THE FISHERY RULES AND STAFF SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS MAY BE ASKED TO LEAVE
